The Chilliwack does a good job of keeping the water out. It has a heavy-duty zipper and velco closure to close the front and a cinch waist. The material is a polyester and Nylon combo which is good against rain. The inside is cotton- better for warmth. I like how the front pockets are lined with fleece.
Another cool thing about the jacket- it costs a couple hundred less than some of the other styles… you can get this for about $550 here.
