It is unique–as of writing it is the only full-length Canada Goose Jacket available. The jacket goes to about the mid-calf. The jacket great for very cold weather. Canada Goose claims it is close to the Expedition but I would put it closer to the Kensington.

The Mystic has both a removable hood or the fur lining by itself is removable. This has interior shoulder straps that allow you to carry over your shoulder. The side wind-guard is nice-protect your face from the wind!

]]> The Women’s Montebello Parka from Canada Goose is a medium weight jacket that is great for winter. The Montebello has two interior pockets and two warm exterior pockets for your hands and the utility pocket for your phone or keys. You can see the classic Canada Goose hood. This is not removable. The jacket has a polyester exterior with a cotton and down interior. Very comfy! I suggest you get one size bigger as it seems to run small.

This is similar to the Trellium line, in that it is form-fitting around the waist. That is one of my favorite aspects of the CG brand. The Montebello is a slightly cheaper option than the Trellium and covers slightly less and is lighter. The best thing about this jacket is that it is light weight while keeping you warm. Also, it has the feminine fit that hugs the hips just right.

]]> The Canada Goose Women’s Trillium Parka is a medium-weight coat for temperatures around zero degrees or less.  It has a somewhat fashionable look. It looks like a dress-jacket if you have a shorter torso like I do. It will keep you plenty warm, but I would recommend a heavier jacket if you are a true outdoorsman. This feels more fashionable to me…which is fine…just know what you are getting.

 

Canada Goose Jacket review

This comes with the signature fur parka hood. The hood is adjustable in the back but not detachable. This is another great entry in to the Canada Goose parka line. You wont feel like a marshmallow, you’ll feel agile and fashionable in the Trillium.

The only negative is that the collar can be a bit rough. Not a deal breaker, just being thorough. Also, buy a size larger than you normally would. Comes in a variety of colors. Available in size xxs- xxl. Seen here in red.

]]> Canada Goose’s Freestyle Vest is about as warm as a vest as you can buy. Being Canada Goose, it is still surprisingly lightweight and not poofy at all. That is what you are paying for-the warmth that this can provide while still being able to show a hint of your figure. The material is polyester and down with fleece in the pockets. This is good for a crisp small evening or I suppose you could use this as layer 1 of a winter outfit. The poly is water resistant.

I have one issue with the design of the vest. Perhaps there is a reason, but the back of the vest is slightly longer.  Sometimes it will be annoying and flip upwards. I still like it though, but that is what I would fix with version 2.0. Also, it runs a bit small.

The jacket is long and slimming. This is a great choice if you are in cold weather but still want to look good. I am a real fan of the long design because I always feel like such a marshmallow during the winters with the huge coats. Anything that can keep me warm and be slightly form-fitting and fashionable is fantastic.

This outperforms my North Face and Outdoor Research for both looks and warmth/weight ratio.

The coat is made of polyester, cotton and down. The poly does a good job of shielding you from the wind. The Women’s Expedition has two side pockets which are warm and in a comfortable position. The hood does not detach. If you are in weather where you don’t need a hood, try a lighter-weight jacket. (Or go crazy and wear the hood down).

This is not the jacket if you are the type of person who lives in California and is looking for something on those cold 40 degree days. If that is your situation you will hate this jacket. This coat is for extreme weather. For this it is a great choice.

This Canada Goose parka has a slimming effect and is available in 14 colors. Since it runs slim I might suggest buying one size up…it is a winter jacket, so I’d rather error on the larger side so that I can layer. This coat is heavy, but it is not the heaviest in the Canada Goose line. This jacket is for those who want to stay warm and still maintain a slight hint of fashion sense while bundled up. However, unless you are in Alaska or Moscow this should keep you plenty warm.

The hood is lined with fleece, while the rest of the coat is made of nylon. Both the collar and the fur are removable if you prefer that look. As with all Canada Goose products make sure you get a genuine product from a quality retailer. Here or here is fine.
