The Citadel Parka from Canada Goose is a heavy-weight jacket that goes down to the thigh area. It has the “slim” fit and look, meaning it is not very puffy, and looks long and lean. I am a fan of the look. The fur on the Citadel is removable- unlike some of the other heavy-weight parkas. If you need warmer, go with the Expedition. However, this will do the job for 98% of the people out there. It is good for sub-zero temperatures.
The bottom of the waist is elastic. The jacket has a draw-cord to keep it tight to your body and the winter out. The Citadel is made from polyester, cotton and down. This has the standard “hand-warmer” pockets that come with most Canada Goose Parkas-the pockets are lined-well. This also has a chin-guard for those windy days.
